Benue Red Cross Strengthens Partnerships with Stakeholders

The Nigerian Red Cross Society (NRCS) Benue Branch has hosted a coordination meeting bringing together government agencies, INGOs, CSOs, and other partners to enhance disaster preparedness and humanitarian response in the state.

The Civil Society Organization in Benue was represented by HealthMedic Support Initiatives, with emphasis placed on involving local NGOs in Red Cross interventions for more community-rooted impact.

The meeting featured goodwill messages from the Benue State Emergency Management Agency, Ministry of Health and Human Services, and the International Organization for Migration, commending the Red Cross for its resilience and commitment to affected populations.

Branch Secretary, Mr. Anthony Abah, presented key activities from 2024–2025, alongside a showcase of the Community Health Project’s impact. Partners pledged to build on existing collaborations to strengthen humanitarian response in Benue State.
