Two-Day Learning and Experience – Sharing Event on Resource Mobilization and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships

HMSI was privileged to participate in a two-day learning and Experience - Sharing event on resource mobilization and multi-stakeholder partnerships held on the 22nd and 23rd October 2025.

The event which was coordinated by Hope Alive for Possibilities Initiative (HAPI) with support from Disability Rights Advocacy Fund hosted by FJDP brought together key stakeholders and CSOs in the state.

The event which was centred on Resource Mobilization highlighted key resource mobilization strategies delivered by the Director General, Sustainable Development Goals, Dr. John Akuse. The DG also shed light on exploring non-financial resources such as multi-stakeholder engagement.

In amplifying the voices of Grassroots women and Youths with disabilities in Benue State, HAPI emphasized the need for CSOs to develop programmes and projects that are disability inclusive and ensure to include persons with disability within their organisational structure.

The event showcased a new narrative on disability inclusion and resource mobilisation beyond donor funding which has engineered CSOs to support themselves and achieve growth.
