HMSI and Elim Christian Vocational Training Center Engage Benue Bureau on Inclusive Education

As we move forward on the Breaking Barriers for Inclusive Education Project, HealthMedic Support Initiatives and Elim Christian Vocational Training Center paid an advocacy visit to the Director-General, Bureau for International Cooperation and Development, Dr. Aondoaseer Viashima, MHE, MPH, PMD Pro.

The visit provided an opportunity to formally communicate the project's vision, objectives, and expected outcomes, while seeking the Bureau's support and participation in our forthcoming Project Launch and Stakeholder Engagement.

We emphasized the importance of bringing key stakeholders together to collectively examine the current realities of inclusive education in Benue State, identify existing barriers, and chart a practical and sustainable pathway towards ensuring that every learner, regardless of disability or circumstance, has equal access to quality education and the opportunity to thrive.

We sincerely appreciate the DG, Dr. Aondoaseer Viashima, MHE, MPH, PMD Pro , for his time, openness, and willingness to engage with the vision of the project. We look forward to his presence, alongside other critical stakeholders, as we convene to strengthen partnerships and advance meaningful action for inclusive education in Benue State.

Together, we can break barriers. Together, we can build an education system that leaves no learner behind.
