Mr. Philip Ode Visits HealthMedic Support Initiative
We were honoured to welcome Mr. Philip Ode to the HealthMedic Support Initiatives (HMSI) headquarters on 23rd December 2025 a meeting that fostered thoughtful dialogue on leadership, inclusion, and organizational growth.
The engagement went beyond an informal visit. It created space for reflective exchange on how mission-driven organizations evolve, strengthen internal systems, and remain responsive to the communities they serve. Conversations centred on learning from experience, adapting to change, and building cultures that encourage innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The HMSI team shared insights from our work across community-based health interventions, maternal and child health, sexual and gender-based violence prevention, and support for vulnerable households. These discussions highlighted the importance of aligning values with practice and ensuring that organizational strategies consistently translate into meaningful outcomes.
Mr. Ode contributed valuable perspectives on inclusive development and disability mainstreaming, reinforcing a broader lesson for organizations working in complex contexts: sustainable impact depends on how well inclusion is embedded in thinking, planning, and everyday decision-making.
This exchange reaffirmed a key principle of organizational development: Growth is accelerated when organizations remain open to learning, reflection, and shared purpose.
We appreciate the opportunity for this knowledge-sharing moment and the inspiration it brings to our team. As we look ahead, we remain committed to nurturing a learning organization that is inclusive, adaptive, and impact-focused.
